DEATH OF ADAM CECIL 3/8/2005 Glebe Ref: 1263/05 Request the case be reopened

DEATH OF ADAM CECIL 3/8/2005 Glebe Ref: 1263/05 Request the case be reopened

The issue

In the Supreme Court decision of Justice J Hidden on 4/10/12 the findings of the first Inquest were quashed and a new Inquest ordered. In the second inquest held on 26 and 29 July 2013 Deputy State Coroner H.C.B Dillon failed to consider the new evidence filed in the Supreme Court before Justice Hidden. On 29/8/13 Deputy State Coroner H.C.B Dillon handed down a blind justice finding I find that Adam Cecil died on 3 August at the Sutherland Hospital, Miranda, NSW as a result of multiple injuries suffered due to a fall from height.  I am unable to determine how that fall came about.

The petitioners therefore request that the NSW Coroners Court File No. 1263/05 be reopened and referred to Homicide Detectives Cold Case for further investigation.

Lyn Cecil believes her son Adam was murdered. At what point would you “just accept” he’d died of suicide and stop fighting? Play episode
