Well we are about 15 days from losing a significant part of our liberty. The freedom to ride a bicycle without carrying an ID. That means every time you hop a bicycle you will be reminded of the presence of the State in your life. It's no different to walking without ID and that of course will be next. I feel sad. I also very disappointed as my letters to the Government have been unanswered. It is clearly a case of letting this one slip under the radar. If I were a paranoid type, I'd say the police have had a say in this decision. Such a sad loss of our right to privacy unparalleled in Australia and much of the world.
