I recently wrote (again) to the Premier Mike Baird after his office told me the Minister for Transport would respond and never has. Here is my UNANSWERED latest email to the Premier "hello I thought I should contact you to say that since 6 January, when you replied to my earlier message I have heard nothing from the Minister for Transport. Meanwhile I have noticed a LOT of media/social comment on the heavy burden of policing on restaurants and bars. Somehow I made a connection to the requirement to carry ID when riding a bicycle. I am sincerely concerned there may be a "Police State” theme by fascist elements underlying all these surreptious attempts to limit the citizens of NSW How simple it would be to revoke the identity need when riding a bicycle. It will restore a sense of belief by citizens that you are not some sort of Fascist Government. Although i have not previously stated my personal life, I want to say I am a law abiding senior citizen who has been a white collar worker all my life.
