Putting lights on the longbeach trail has got a lot of talk… and here’s why it should not happen

Disrupts the wildlife, the track is literally along the wetlands, putting in lights will disrupt the nocturnal wildlife as the nocturnal animals use the natural cycle to know when to wake up and eat. Putting the lights in will confused them and they will struggle to survive. We need to save our wildlife!

Housing - people literally live along the track, having giant lights that light up the track will definitely light up their life, and not in a good way. Imagine having a constant bright light shining through your windows even with the blinds down and not being able to turn it off because it’s on the track… sounds annoying doesn’t it.

The horses - yes there are horse paddocks along the track and guess what? It will disturb their cycle to because just like nocturnal animals they use the natural lighting from the sun to function.

Noise - So noise, yeah there will be noise a lot of noise!! Because how else will they get these lights up? Via construction!!! And the construction yeah that will disrupt everyone, people and animals alike
