We, the undersigned, petition the North Carolina Association of Educators (NCAE) to make the winning of collective bargaining rights for North Carolina Public School Teachers the major focus of organizational and lobbying efforts.

We urge NCAE to partner with like minded public employee organizations in North Carolina to win these vital rights for all public employees.

We feel that the transformation of NCAE into a full fledged union that can collectively bargain for NC teachers is the best way on a long term basis to address the challenges facing our schools.
