NO AI HARTFORD COUNTY

NO AI HARTFORD COUNTY
The Issue
“A $90 million development is moving forward in our community, promoted as innovation and economic growth—but it raises serious concerns.
Data and AI centers rely on large amounts of public water to cool their systems. With a combination this can produce wastewater containing harmful substances, including PFAS (‘forever chemicals’), which may impact our water source and create long-term health problems.
There are also additional concerns, including air pollution and constant noise, which can affect the health, well-being, and quality of life of nearby residents.
At the same time, Hartford is facing a $70+ million school deficit, with job cuts and students at risk of falling behind due to a lack of resources.
We are not against growth—but it must not come at the expense of our children’s education, our health, or our community.
Who is this project really for?
Sign the petition and demand accountability.
Call to Action:
We call on local leaders to:
- Reevaluate funding priorities and invest in our schools
- Protect our community from potential exposure to harmful chemicals.
- Put people before projects
calling on the community to sign this petition and demand accountability of leaders in office!
