That the Nigeria Union of Teachers NUT should stop compelling Teachers into the fold of its union as it is optional for any teacher to join any union of its choice.

As a Teacher in Nigeria, Oyo State or any part of the country the choice of membership to a union should be open to individual interest and no union should enforce its body upon any teacher for everyone has the right and freedom of association as enshrined in the United Nations Charter and this must be respected in all civilised nations of the world.
