Please sign this petition to support the New Hampshire House Bill 598 - an act relative to the portion of a minimum sentence to be served to be eligible for parole. This bill is not a guarantee that an inmate will be granted parole after serving 50% of their time, but will allow for the opportunity for inmates to show that they have worked towards bettering themselves, participated in rehabilitative programs and have met the required criteria set forth by the courts and the prison systems. By supporting HB 598, these men and women will be given the chance at parole hearings after serving 50% of their mandatory minimum sentence and meeting certain other conditions. At this point, it is up to the inmate to prove rehabilitation and success in their programs in order to be granted parole. Thank you for your support.
