Margaret Hassan is a prominent American politician and attorney. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Brown University and a Juris Doctor from Northeastern University. Hassan has had a distinguished career in public service and law. She served as the Governor of New Hampshire, demonstrating her leadership and commitment to her state. Before her tenure as governor, she was an Associate General Counsel at Brigham and Women's Hospital and worked as an attorney at Palmer & Dodge and Sullivan, Weinstein & McQuay. Hassan also served as a State Senator in the New Hampshire State Senate.
