It is time for Michael Woodhouse to resign as a Member of Parliament. 

His recent actions have been reprehensible and show he is no longer fit to serve the New Zealand people. 

In June he lied to the New Zealand public about people entering quarantine facilities, giving NZ it’s first Trump-style fake news piece (www.stuff.co.nz/national/politics/300044663/national-mp-michael-woodhouse-wont-say-homeless-man-tale-was-true) and stood by those lies.

In July he received private, sensitive health information from the then National Party President and instead of reporting the breach of privacy he chose to delete his emails and hide them. He has also been accused of bullying other MPs (https://thespinoff.co.nz/politics/04-07-2020/clare-curran-interview-donna-chisholm/) and lied about being related to an ANZAC hero (http://i.stuff.co.nz/dominion-post/editors-picks/10065941/Minister-apologises-for-Gallipoli-relative-gaffe).

Michael Woodhouse’s actions have shown that he no longer has the best interests of Dunedin or the New Zealand people at heart. 

It is time for Michael to do the honourable thing and resign.
