The Issue

A promise New York Hospital made, but failed to uphold.
What Is New York Hospital?
New York Hospital (Server creation established March 2025) was created like any other Ro-Med Roleplay, claiming to "strive for a realistic, professional, and engaging hospital" experience.
NYH is currently owned by Executive Chairman Luke Adele Sinclair, the nearest role below him being Vice-Chairmen Señor Pedro H. (He/Him) & Dr. Webber (He/Him)
What is Going on in New York Hospital?
Everything in New York Hospital was going smooth as usual, until today at 3:14 AM (CST)
former chairperson Cole (He/Him) (Owner of Vanderbilt International Hospital) resigned from his position. It started off as a typical resignation message, thanking the community & how difficult it is choosing to resign. But, in the upcoming paragraphs, Cole says the following:
"I was told a lot of things when I joined that I later found out were not true, and over time, it started to feel like those things were only said to get me here and get me to put in the work. I hate to say it, but at times I genuinely felt used. "
"My decision also comes from the constant miscommunication, and disrespect within Ownership. Those are things I simply cannot support or continue putting my name behind. I have tried to communicate how I felt, but eventually you reach a point where you have to choose what is best for yourself. "

Like any other scenario, sources are pretty much expected. No exact screenshots have been sent as the day of, but other sources have come through and said the following.

" Due to the disrespect, distrust, and horrible leadership discussions I have came up with the decision to resign I know it may seem crazy that this is happening as if you know me you know I hate resignations for a reason. But I refuse to be questioned about everything I do, I can’t even do my job most days. " - Zion T. Sterling
As stated above, screenshots disproving or proving the claims above have been yet to release.
How Did The Staff React?
As the resignations came coming in, the server split in two pieces: "Cole is a liar" & "Luke is not taking care of his team"
You could tell who was on Lukes side. The people who is close to him, and people freshly joining & trying to get positions.
Outrage struck in the general chat, people going back and forth, others freaking out. As the anger went around, the NYH team (especially leadership) was going around threating that they will "time out" people who discuss the issues spreading in general.
Despite their attempt of silencing the community, NYH members wanted their opinions heard. Instead of listening to the corrupted team, they kept discussing. In a quick flash, the team decided to lock down general chat.
Instead of backing down, everybody moved to VC. I was not there for most of it, but the time I joined, lots of arguing was going on. The staff, (humbled and obviously losing) made the VC push to talk, and started enforce-muting members along with locking the voice-call & its chat.
That sent the Pro-Cole side through a whole rage, they felt like they were silenced. With Members begging in general to be unmuted, nobody felt the need to help address problems.
What did Luke Respond With?
In the announcements channel, Luke "Adele" Sinclair claimed
"A lot of rumors have been going around about me and my server. These people have quit because they are mad that I didn’t give them the positions they wanted. These people are trying to steal people for Vanderbilt and has been there plan most likely all along. I’m fine for staff leaving as I am not forcing anyone to stay or anything but please refrain from believing false things about me. They are trying to take me down now as they want to take you all away as there are power hungry. I will touch more on the situation latter as again I am a human aswell and I’m eating dinner." (Copy & pasted, the grammar mistakes are not mine)
Sinclair has not said anything else relating to the topic as of now.
What Does This Petition Stand For?
I (frappe.shane) decided to create this petition as a symbol of change. I believe ownership should be transferred. If we give it to anyone currently on the team, I doubt the legacy will turn even more positive. I am requesting it to be passed to me, Shane R. Culpepper.
The claim might be random and be seen as self-obsessive, but I believe I am the ideal candidate for this position. I understand what NYH Community needs!

What would Shane do with NYH?
If I recieve ownership, this petition will be a guide to my plans.
1: I would mend the relationship with Vanderbilt. & its community. To own a server with hatred from another is NOT the way to go.
2: I would communicate clearly about the future of NYH. Before the thought of a revamp, I would do the following
- Discuss with leadership
- Discuss with the sub-departmental members
-Finally, discuss with the community.
I 100% am down for a revamp, but I would rather keep the community happy than please a small want for myself.
3: Introduce new mechanics in the community. No matter if the revamp happens or not, new features, departments, and additions will keep flowing.
4: Properly advertise & assist in hiring procedures. It is rumored that NYH just accepted applications. If servers want to properly flow, we need staff who we believe are able.
