it was a great show and tackled many issues… taboos of that time, growing up, racism, sexism, and so much more. And each of these issues got an ending… something to wrap up the story. 
but what about Ka'kwet? We saw her trapped inside the residential school, her parents camping just off the property. But then the story line just… disappeared?

we can all agree that the last episode felt a bit rushed… the Gilbert and Anne storyline needed at least one more episode to be properly wrapped up in itself. And I get it- it’s the happy ending we wanted, the scene every sherbet shipper waited years for (and I am among them!) 

however, I can’t help thinking of Ka'kwet, and how that was more of an important storyline to pursue. But it’s all fine, it’ll be continued in season four I told myself. 
but now… season four is canceled. 

can we please reboot Anne… or even a spin off movie or show about Ka'kwet to wrap this up? Ka'kwet Deserves justice and it’s not really fair that she was brushed aside for Anne and Gilbert to share a couple kisses in my opinion.
