This campaign is about the continuously ignored matter of road safety, despite various voices being raised and agitation being shown by people regarding the condition of *RAWATBHATA- KOTA* road, there are no significant actions being taken by the government authorities for a long time which is highly disappointing and shows the lack of communication and decision making within the government.

This road is getting worse day by day and pedestrians and vehicles can become victims of accidents at any time now. PLEASE HELP sign this petition 

**LOTS OF CAMPAIGNS ARE ALREADY ON IT. PEOPLE HAVE ALREADY SHOWN THEIR ANGER, WE DON'T WANT THIS TO BE ANOTHER FAILED CAMPAIGN, WE DON'T WANT EXCUSES ANY LONGER. WE CAN'T WAIT FOR AN ACCIDENT TO OPEN YOUR EYES, WE WANT A DECISION, AN ACTION, AS FAST AS POSSIBLE**

IMMEDIATE ATTENTION AND ACTION IS REQUIRED TOWARDS THIS ISSUE AS: 

1. RAWATBHATA NPCIL IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST NUCLEAR HUBS OF THE COUNTRY which has eight nuclear power stations, an under-construction nuclear fuel complex, and a heavy water plant.
2. A lot of international officials from international organizations like IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency), WANO (World Association of Nuclear Operators ) regularly visit the power plant via RAWATBHATA-KOTA road, the kind of impression we are leaving on our guests is a matter of shame as they have to travel through damaged road to reach India's most prestigious power plant.
3. KOTA is the main evacuation centre/emergency shelter for residents of RAWATBHATA NUCLEAR POWER PLANT COLONY and nearby villages in case of emergency and therefore the road condition needs to be highly attended.
4. KOTA IS KNOWN AS THE EDUCATION CITY OF INDIA, STUDENTS OF ALMOST EVERY FAMILY IN RAWATBHATA( with a population of approx. 50.000) AND ALL THE NEAREST AREAS ARE STUDYING IN KOTA AND THEY ARE FACING PROBLEMS TRAVELLING THROUGH THIS DAMAGED ROUTE.

*IT HAS BEEN OBSERVED THAT JUST BECAUSE RAWATBHATA BELONGS IN THE CHITTORGARH DISTRICT AND THE MAJOR PART OF THE CONNECTING ROAD COMES UNDER KOTA DISTRICT GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS ARE JUST BEING IGNORANT TO THIS ISSUE AND NOBODY IS ACTUALLY TAKING A RESPONSIBILITY, THIS MATTER IS JUST PASSING AIMLESSLY FROM FOREST DEPARTMENT TO PWD AND PUBLIC REPRESENTATIVES ARE NOT SHOWING ANY INTEREST IN THAT, AS A RESULT, NO DECISION IS COMING OUT AND COMMON PEOPLE ARE FACING THE REPERCUSSIONS*
