My now ex husband got married before we were divorced. I found out after 14 years of marriage he lied on our marriage license as well. He was at least done getting divorced with his last wife before we got married. Not only did I find out he lied about marriages, but he lied about having kids. His new wife thinks I’m just a baby mama. Their marriage doesn’t even count. They need to get their current marriage annulled, then get married. I just want him to have a relationship with our son, but he won’t. He blames me. I am so tired of being the only parent because he can’t bring our son around due to the fact that his lies will come to light. There needs to be a national data base for marriages! None of this would have happened, if there was. He knows this too because I asked him right before  we got married if he had ever been married before and he said no. When I found out he lied I asked him why he lied to me, and he said because he loved me. He lied to me because he loved me?  This is just one way we can catch narcissistic abusers. Please don’t let him ruin more children. Narcissistic abuse is real.  A national database showing marriages will not allow people to lie. Why have laws, if they aren’t enforced? This was used against me in court. Almost $10k to try to save someone else the pain of going thru what I did.
