Democratic National Committee

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is the official organization representing the United States Democratic Party. Its core responsibility is to coordinate strategies to support Democratic candidates throughout the country during both presidential and congressional elections. Additionally, the DNC organizes the Democratic National Convention held every four years to nominate a presidential and vice-presidential candidate, and it also drafts the party platform. Its day-to-day operations are managed by the DNC Chair, elected by the committee members.
