Due to the pandemic we are facing,  businesses are closing and a lot of workers are sent home on unpaid leave. People have no way of getting cash since majority of places have been closed down and the government is insisting on all citizens being in quarantine. Therefore, the landlord should waiver or reduce the rent for some time until people can go back to work, which would be the most humane thing to do.
