Alison Morris did NOT say the n-word on MSNBC to describe the Los Angeles Lakers, she said "NAKERS" because she worked as a reporter in New York for many years. We need to protect her job from an outrage-fueled mob that is not thinking clearly and allowing this to bias their auditory perception.

Wanda Sykes and The Amazing Lucas have stuck up for Alison, as well as her long-term friend Ross Guidotti who said the following: "A friend and fellow reporter is now the target of attack after what people claim they heard her say on the air. I would mortgage my soul and the honor of my family that Alison Morris is one of the kindest, most understanding, and least prejudiced/racist humans one can know!". Snopes.com did a brief search on Morris's history as a reporter and found no similar slips or racial controversies in her past.

Now it's our turn to give our support by signing this petition. Morris slipped up because she was shaken by Kobe's death, as we all were. It is a disgrace to use such a tragic loss to fuel mob hatred and destroy the career of someone who has worked for nearly 20 years to become finally fulfill her dream to become a national TV anchor only this month.
