HERE IS A POTENTIAL SOLUTION FOR THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY IN SOUTH WESTERN AND WESTERN SYDNEY (Safety and Securely)

My idea is to create a construction industry bubble with the 8 LGAs under lockdown – Fairfield, Blacktown, Cumberland, Campbelltown, Canterbury-Bankstown, Liverpool, Parramatta and Georges River Local Government Areas plus Camden and Penrith.

Allow Construction workers back onsite especially on the single dwelling Project Home sites that make up a large part of construction in Western and South Western Sydney and where workers are predominatley working outdoors on unoccupied building sites.

Have a maximum number of workers onsite at anyone time of say Five (5) which would accommodate most Trades used in Home Construction.

Ensure regular covid testing of workers is undertaken at every 3 to 5 days.

I know that the Tradies in South Western and Western Sydney would much prefer to have jobs rather than Jobkeeper allowance that the Labor Party is pushing for.

What we need is to get back to work - We want Jobs not Jobkeeper handouts!

Gladys, Quarantine the Sick, Protect the Vulnerable but allow the rest of us to keep working and living, locking down six million people for an indefinite period isn't working out.
