#Defamation of #Character.  Worker who suffered #Segregation at work,  #Support #Worker who are Subjected to Hate / Dislike due to Racial #Discrimination / #Religious #Discrimination.

Petition:: I’m Henry Akannilaisu, a GMB member since 2019 / 2024 till current moment 2026 and a member of the public London United Kingdom I work and I'm paying Regular Tax in London United Kingdom. 

 

Since 2022 I’ve faced bullying, harassment, victimisation, and unlawful deduction of wages at work. In May 2025 I made a protected disclosure under the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998 about serious misconduct on site. 

 

After I reported  wrongdoing to the Management,  I was Singled Out And Subjected to Constructive Dismissal Plan at work. 

 

My Employer Failed to protect me and Failed to Provide a duty of care.  Instead Management where Harbouring Bullying .

I was subjected to Consistent Bullying and One of the Offender made threats to my life.  Which I reported this to the Metropolitan Police in 2025. 

 

I raised a formal grievance on 4 May -June 2025 A new grievance recently In May 2026 and I have  contacted GMB London Region at infolondon@gmb.org.uk and london.comms@gmb.org.uk. But I have not received impartial, timely, or effective support. Detriment to Health and safety. Ever Since last year 2025 GMB have not sat down with me or invited me for a meeting face to face,  GMB have are Avoiding this case. GMB have refused to offer me Legal Assistant.  I am a GMB union member paying £15.00 Pounds every month regularly. Under terms of membership,  It Is Understood that the GMB Union would provide representation and legal assistance in Employment matters.  Unfortunately I am deeply concerned that I have not received the support I am entitled to as a member of the Union. 

 

This petition demands that GMB Union:

 

1. Appoint an independent caseworker outside GMB London Region to take over my case immediately.

 

2. Support escalation: to ACAS, the Health and Safety Executive, and the Department for Business and Trade on whistleblowing detriment and SIA licensing breaches.

 

3. Explain the delays and provide a written record of actions taken to date.

 

4. Commit to a review of how GMB handles whistleblowing and detriment cases in London Region.

 

Unions exist to protect workers, especially whistleblowers. GMB’s failure to act leaves members exposed and undermines trust in the whole movement.

When unions don’t stand up for members, it sets a dangerous precedent. No one should lose pay, health, and safety for speaking up about wrongdoing and Unlawful Act.
