This is a petition to get more beach tennis courts in Hermosa Beach. Over the last 16 years, The city of Hermosa Beach has been very supportive in approving the current 6 Beach Tennis Courts North of the Pier.  For that, we are grateful!!

It has been 10 years since we have had last 3 additional courts installed. Beach Tennis is growing in our community and we have overgrown the current 6 courts we have between 14th and 15th Streets.  There are people waiting to play every weekend...

Beach Tennis is growing fast and furious in the world in over 62 countries and will is slotted to be featured in the 2032 Olympics in Brisbane!  Hermosa Beach is the first beach city to give the Beach Tennis Association and Beach Tennis Community the first permanent Beach Tennis courts in the U.S.A in 2010!  Hermosa Beach is widely known  for its beautiful beach and its Beach Tennis location in the Beach Tennis international community as we have hosted over 120 events, some through the  International Tennis Federation which brought in players from all over the world.

Our community is asking for at 6 more courts, specifically for Beach Tennis, south of the Pier and west of the Volleyball Courts.  We would supply the posts and the nets.

We need more courts!
