On December 11, 2015, Leilani Greta Mortensun was taken from her family for the reason that both of her parents were using medical Cannabis as directed to do so by their doctors under California law. In December of 2016, one year later, the Family Court of Monterey County will issue it's determination if Leilani should be returned to her parents or put up for adoption. If you think she should be returned to her parents or if you think it is wrong to take a child away from their parents because of an herb as safe as Cannabis, please sign the petition asking the court to return this sweet little two year old to her parents.
