For far too long, rumours have been circulating that Monash has plans to sell or allow another institution to use the Monash Berwick facility. For far too long, Monash University has provided no answers. 

Staff and students are concerned about their futures and the best response provided by the university is "consultations will begin mid-year".

Monash Gippsland had next to no warning when they were sold, leaving students to graduate with a degree that is only technically a Monash degree. They're now taught by staff who may not be employed by Monash.

Students worldwide work hard to become a part of the Monash University community, yet the University Council does not seem to respect this. 

We demand answers about what's happening to the campus, who will be utilising it and importantly, what will happen to Monash Berwick students? We deserve better.

If Monash is moving out of our Berwick campus, students deserve the opportunity to continue their course with Monash employed academics teaching them at Berwick. We will not accept degrees that are taught by another university but given Monash certification.

We deserve to know the world renowned, prestigious University we worked so hard to enter respects us and our education.
