Our mission is to delay the nomination of a Justice to the Supreme Court until 2021. We urge United States Senators who, in 2016, decried confirming a Justice during an election year, to act now in accordance with their stated principles!

In 2016, many senators made known their conviction that voters should have a voice in deciding who is nominated to the Supreme Court when a vacancy opens close to a general election. For nine months, these senators refused to even allow hearings on a Supreme Court nominee, maintaining that to do so in an election year would be a grave violation of the rights of the American people.

Now, many of these senators appear to have abandoned their principles. We believe the Supreme Court seat previously held by Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg should be vacant until 2021 in order to honor the precedent that these senators established in 2016.
