COVID-19 has affected G2 drivers from upgrading to a G license, a lot of drivers are left with an expired G2 License because of it; when all of the restrictions are lifted we are going to be left in a potentially difficult situation. We are going to have issues getting to our jobs, doctors appointments and even getting the necessities like food and medications. 

I propose that the Ontario government gives all of us who had a G2 license expired during the COVID-19 pandemic be bumped up to a full license because clearly we have the experience to have our full license at this point. I think that if this doesn’t happens it’s going to cause a lot of issues for the province because not only will drivers who are trying to go from a G1 to a G2 going to be in a panic to get their road test but drivers who are going from a G2 to a G are going to be in that very same panic which is unnecessary.
