Adventure Tourism?
India is a country with great trails and beautiful scenery, there are many off road trails suitable for 4x4 or off road vehicles Australia is a major place of such an example. These trails can often lead to a major boost in tourism and can generate a lot of direct and indirect investment in the states. 

Problems being faced?
Many of the vehicles locally available in India are of a lower engine displacement capacity and lacks specialized features such as locking differentials and also has a low stock height which makes it unsuitable and dangerous for the hard trails. There are many specialized vehicles available for sale at very cheap prices in foreign counties, which could be bought to India and the trails can be explored by the local community here. 

Importing to India is currently impossible as due to the high import duties and taxes that are levied on vehicles imported from outside of India. If these duties are reduced to a reasonable amount or made an exception of sports vehicles, imported for the purpose of sports and off road driving / camping / over-landing , this would allow the Indians to import second hand vehicles at cheaper prices and thus fulfill the passion of exploring the hidden sides of India. This may also boost foreign investment as there are many specialized clubs / organisations that do off road activities on a global scale and this will be a huge encouragement of setting up a similar off road environment in India.
