Goverment of India

The Government of India, also known as the Union Government, is a federal governing body composed of two main segments: the Executive branch, led by the President and comprising several Ministries and departments, and the Legislative branch, divided into the Rajya Sabha (Council of States) and the Lok Sabha (House of the People). Established by the Constitution of India, with a structure mirrored on the British parliamentary system, it also encompasses an independent judiciary arm that upholds the rule of law. From healthcare and education to foreign policy and defense, the Government of India is responsible for implementing and managing a wide array of national policy decisions and initiatives.
