Disabled people are born to be rejected by the majority of people in today's society. Some are physically handicapped, while others are mentally handicapped, yet they are all members of our community. When we did not have a prejudice against individuals with impairments, it was a gift. They should not be treated unfairly because of their impairments. They may feel lonely, helpless, and dissatisfied as a result of their limitations, and hence develop depression. Because of the discrimination, a majority of them would lose joy in life. They require assistance, people on whom they can rely, people who will urge them to continue their lives, and people who will help them overcome prejudices! Why don't we lend a helping hand to encourage and support those with disabilities?
