Hi all,

Today is a very sad day for me as my recently adopted old dog who had heartworm is not well even though she has been cleared of this!

Unfortunately, as it is a very serious illness, many dogs die due to the internal destruction from these parasites, especially to the heart, lungs, liver and pancreas. 

She is very listless today and normally would welcome a little walk, but not now, she just wants to rest. I feel its just a matter of time!

Also, the dogs which had so callously been abandoned by the clergy of Monte have now been taken away by the council and are in a kennel for adoption! What an easy way to solve this situation!! So much for anyone stepping in locally to take them in also.
