The bag charge has been implemented since 2015 and has worked very well since it's introduction. However, we feel that the fast food industry (McDonalds, KFC,Burger King etc) have jumped onto the PLASTIC BAG charge and have no right to charge the public for bags given that they are paper (bio degradable) bags. 

Not only do the companies benefit from the public very well already based on the food they sell and over charge for!? but to take advantage and profit from something that is genuinely trying to protect our planet is disgraceful. Even if it's the case they say the contributions are for a charity!? We as the public should be informed where our money is going and have the right to choose where it goes but more to the point, the bags are NOT plastic & they're Logo branded i.e free marketing. Therefore, there should be NO CHARGE!
