We need to protect our heritage areas, water front and green space that makes our community unique from the irresponsible rapid development that is currently occurring in Cambridge. Height restriction along the waterfront and in the old village cores need to be maintained. Our heritage buildings and trees and farmland need to be protected from massive development. Once the natural resources and history are destroyed, we can never get them back. Moreover the amount of land that is good for farming in Ontario is small. Once we build on it we can not provide our own food. 
Development is unavoidable but Grey areas can be developed. Areas away from the waterfront and green space can be used for dense development. 
We need City Hall to listen to the concerns of the voters. No more massive developments along the waterfront. No more needless destruction of heritage buildings farmland and trees. We will no longer be ignored! Stop destroying the heart and soul of our community!
