Make fireworks illegal in Fresno, CA unless at an organized venue. Every year beginning as early as June, fireworks cause animal runaways/trauma/deaths, air pollution, fires, property destruction, injuries, illegal selling on streets and it interferes with the community sleeping schedule. Fourth of July is our honorary holiday to celebrate our independence and the work of our veterans yet we harm them by triggering them with loud noises that trigger their anxiety and PTSD. We need to ensure the emotional and physical health of all people in our community and fireworks have no benefit to us.
