In 1990, Phillip Alvin Jones was a 19 year old young man with a newborn daughter who was accused of a non homicide shooting in Baltimore, Maryland and subsequently sentenced to life with the possibility of parole.  Phillip has languished in prison for nearly 31 years.  He went in at age 19.  He is now 51 years old. He has lost his mother and his only two siblings while he has been imprisoned.  He has lost all the years of raising his one and only daughter.  He has completed years of programming while in prison, and has completed his GED and college coursework working toward a Business degree.  He has had zero infractions of rules for over ten years.  He is a writer, mentor, and activist for positive change.  We are a team of professionals who strongly believe in Phillip.  A 19 year old does not have a fully developed adult brain and would not know how to handle wrongful incarceration, but a 51 year old with intelligence and integrity knows the difference between right and wrong.
