Peanut Butter Combos (pretzel / cracker variety) were a favorite snack of many consumers until M&M Mars (now Mars,Inc) discontinued them back in the 1990's. Personally, for me, they were a staple part of my diet when there was no time for a dinner break at my first job. It has been rumored that Peanut Butter Combos were discontinued due to the peanut butter allergy situation back in the 90's where there was lax oversight in school cafeterias and classrooms. I would suggest that today's public is much more educated in peanut allergy awareness and more precautions have been put in place to keep allergy sufferers safe. I humbly ask for everyone's support in petitioning Mars, Inc. to bring these snacks back for a whole new generation to snack on and enjoy.
