The western veneration of Winston Churchill is problematic, to say the least. Romanticized fabrications of Churchill's life as a benevolent man who was the messiah of the free world couldn't be farther from the truth. 

The Bengal Presidency was struck with famine in 1943 and every bit of grain was necessary for the survival of locals. However, Churchill knowingly diverted vast essential resources to men fighting the war as the starvation of Indians continued. Even with people from India asking for some relief measures for the dying crowds, Churchill repeatedly denied any form of help and blamed Indians for their own planned genocide, and peevishly writing on the margins "Why hasn't Gandhi died yet". Overall, this planned genocide killed at least 4 million Bengalis. 
Churchill deliberately planned and executed 4 million Bengalis for his war efforts, and has the same amount of blood as Hitler.

Therefore, we request Facebook to reexamine the stark similarities between Churchill and Hitler and understand why praising Churchill would be an issue for most Indians. We request to ban content praising this imperialist, akin to what the policy is about Hitler.
