Mandate Testing and Public Reporting for Fungal Spores in Cement Mold

The Issue

We are at the receiving end of a significant health and environmental issue. Rising fungal infections and the disruption of soil nutrients affect us daily, highlighting the urgent need for concrete measures and solutions.

Current respiratory infections due to fungi are prevalent in our area, and the health impacts of such exposure can significantly degrade our quality of life. Besides health, the disturbing soil balance by not returning nutrients is detrimental to the environment and breaks the sustainable cycle nature intended.

Cement mold strain is a highly overlooked aspect in this context. It is essential to test, identify, and publicly report the spores' strains currently growing in cement sidewalk molds. Even more important is taking note of the fungal active soil laid down as a remedy. Without the assessment of these elements, harmful fungal infections and the degradation of soil nutrients are inevitable.

We propose that sidewalks are mold tested to find the spores strain and document on sign and as it's posted, after the usage in fungi active soil treatments, the used soil and molds should not just be discarded but remediated on site for approximately a week to two weeks and brought back by the same truck to a forest products facility. This procedural change will not only address the pollution and waste issues but will aid in the restoration of soil nutrients.

Implementing these strategies will increase transparency, improve public health, and significantly contribute to resolving the nutrient depletion issue plaguing our soils. By enforcing this code, we can begin a domino effect of conscious business practices to care for our environment better.

Protect the health of our community and the wellness of our environment. Do not let us bear the burden of negligence. We urge you to sign this petition and demand mandatory testing, public reporting of fungal spores in cement molds, and the restoration of soil nutrients. Thanks and stay blessed everybody!
