Using a sarcastic repetition of "her body, her choice" as a tool for mockery, a derogatory tone has been set. The publication of her nude photos on their platforms serves to further denigrate her and, by association, all women.

This isn't just an attack on an individual; it's an attack on the respect accorded to women and their autonomy. The non-consensual publication of these photos can be equated with 'revenge porn' or 'slut shaming', which is a violation of privacy and a form of sexual harassment. According to the Cyber Civil Rights Initiative, about 1 in 8 online users in the US have been threatened with revenge porn. Furthermore, 90% of revenge porn victims are women.

This petition is calling on Congress to intervene, by passing a law specifically to protect all First Ladies and women in general from such demeaning and privacy-invading acts. This is not just about Melania Trump; it's about the dignity and respect due to all women, now and in the future.
