Every day of my life a child runs up to me and asks, "Hey Erne, why isn't pickleball in the newest installment of Nintendo Switch Sports formerly known as Wii Sports?"

I want to look those kids in the eyes and say, "The day has come, kiddos: pickleball is now an official Wii Sport."

There are many good causes in the world. Of these many causes, there are but a small few that have potential to truly change the world.

This is clearly one of those causes.

Our proposal is simple: make pickleball an official "Wii Sport" by including it in the next installment of "Nintendo Switch Sports."

If this petition gets 10,000 signatures, there's no doubt that we can secure a meeting with Nintendo Switch's America President, Doug Bowser.

Nothing has potential to unite our nation's young and old like pickleball.

No video game captures our hearts and withstands the test of time more than Wii Sports.
