Every year children are abused, be it physical, mental, sexual, they are neglected and even trafficked. Every year OCS gets these reports, they’ll rip good families apart by lying or they’ll stand idly by doing nothing and stating no disclosure. This has to stop! At the end of the day it’s their word against the parents and child’s and that shouldn’t sit right with anybody. Our police officers wear body cams to protect themselves and civilians so why have we not enacted this on the very industry initially put into place to help children and do more harm in some cases. Make them responsible, stop allowing them to behave in these manners and use the excuse of “we are overworked”. You chose that career you took on the responsibility and now it’s time for accountability!
