A lot of us enjoy Netflix on our Macs, however we are limited in functionality compared to mobile users as well as Windows users. As some of you might know, Netflix limits downloads to their app. Which is definitely reasonable. However because they do not provide an app for MacOS, we can not download out favorite movies and TV shows to watch on the airplane unlike Windows, iOS, Android and ChromeOS users. It would not take Netflix a lot of resources to build an app that would allow us to do the same since they have an app for iPhones and iPads and coding an app for Macs should be easy for them. Similarly, if you want to watch Netflix in the highest quality with HDR support, you must use Safari, which can be annoying if you use any other browser, because it means you have to switch browsers every time you plan to watch a movie. If Netflix makes an app, it would also solve that issue.
