It was October of 2017, when Together Labs (IMVU, Inc.) made Daren Tsui the CEO of IMVU, Inc. As many IMVU users may recall, this was a golden age of IMVU where many users still played the game and enjoyed the many elements of the pixel world. But things were about to change, and not for the better.

My name is Lucaz on IMVU, and I am presenting this petition to the people of IMVU so we can make real change in the community and improve the playing experience for all people of IMVU. I want to replace Daren Tsui, and take his position as acting CEO of IMVU, Inc. The board of directors, investors, and many people behind the scenes of Together Labs need to wake up and listen to the community!

If you sign this petition, you are agreeing that we need new leadership from Together Labs. If you sign this petition, you are supporting a whole new movement to bring back the nostalgic vibes that were once this great game known as IMVU. A game that stood the test of time from 2004 in its inception, all the way until present day. It has been 20+ years of IMVU operating as a business, and the time is now to revive this community and bring back collaborations with creators and players alike to strengthen the games economy.

As CEO of IMVU, I will immediately work to reinstate programs that pay creators with real life money instead of just paying them out with IMVU credits. I will work towards bringing back credit resellers, and businesses that can collaborate with IMVU, Inc. to strengthen our pixel economy on day one. Creators need to get paid real money, and paying them with only credits and no way to sell these said credits for profit is unacceptable. Creators are the life line of this game, and create many products that users enjoy everyday.

I will work towards better representation of community needs, that actually matter! No more pointless updates that don't benefit the people of IMVU. We do NOT need IMVU Next, or any other Windows/Mac based client that is simply IMVU mobile on a computer. IMVU Mobile is useful for many users on the go, but we will focus more on updates that benefit the actual PC/Mac client to encourage a more consistent regular user base of users. Mobile users are NOT everything! Many people on IMVU still use their Pc/Mac to play this game, and we need to cater to updates with the client and server to better their playing experience.

Also as CEO of IMVU Inc. I will immediately get rid of marketing for IMVU NFT's or VCoins. We do not need to keep promoting a SCAM that doesn't really benefit the community. This is just another way corporate greed gets in the way of actually giving the people what they want. If a mobile user wants to host a room, they shouldn't have to pay to keep it running. I think NFT's and VCoins can be useful in the future, but we need to find a better way to promote these products. Perhaps another benefit to actually collecting and owning these metaverse items, instead of just selling them.

Many users will remember a time when IMVU had voice chat! It is time we bring this update back, and stop holding it behind a pay wall for mobile users only to enjoy. This is straight up corporate greed, and they need to make voice chat free to all users that play this game. I am all for IMVU, Inc. making money, but we have to do better as a business to actually listen to our users and what they really want. There are plenty of ways IMVU, Inc makes money, and having another pay wall for features we already have isn't necessary. 

I still support VIP benefits, and I think we can incorporate NFT and VCoin rewards with the VIP monthly subscription. Whispering should still be a VIP feature, because that's a great selling point to subscribing to IMVU's VIP program. But charging $20 USD a month to host live rooms, that is unacceptable. VIP should cost no more than $10 USD a month for ALL features included. There are many things we can do to make VIP an enticing subscription, and I plan on working on that to make it more feasible for all users!

With your signature we can bring back IMVU and give competitors like Second Life a run for their money! IMVU has always been a more affordable alternative to Second Life, and offered a real sense of community with chat rooms that felt more localized with friend groups and regular users that frequent these said chat rooms. Investing in the community of IMVU will increase revenues yearly and bring a lot of users back. Bringing back family, friendships, relationships, and real active chat rooms where people actually talk to each other. This is a chat room experience after all! IMVU was never meant to just be a parking lot for people to park, it is an innovative meta world experience!

Please share this petition with all your friends so we can show Together Labs that we mean business about IMVU and will not stop until they fire Daren Tsui and hire me as CEO. I will step in his place as CEO and make IMVU a thriving community once again!
