The Issue

For generations, a trip to Disneyland or Disney World has been a dream for families — a magical escape that brought joy to kids and adults alike. But today, that dream is slipping out of reach for more and more people.

Disney just raised ticket prices again. A single-day visit during peak times like Christmas or New Year’s now costs over $200 per person. Parking? That’s $35. Want to skip the lines? That’s another $34. And annual passes? The highest-tier one is now $1,899.

For working families, these prices make a Disney vacation nearly impossible.

Yes, Disney says there are still lower-priced days, but most families travel during holidays or school breaks, when prices soar. And every year, those prices go up again.

It’s no longer just expensive, it’s exclusionary.

The Disney brand was built on the promise of shared wonder. Walt Disney himself spoke about creating a place where "parents and children could have fun together." But when a family of four has to pay nearly $1,000 just to walk through the gates, that vision is fading fast.

We’re asking Disney CEO Bob Iger and The Walt Disney Company to commit to restoring affordability at Disney Parks:

  • Freeze ticket price increases for the next 3 years
  • Expand access to discounted days across school holiday periods
  • Introduce affordable family and local resident packages

Disney can still be profitable without pricing out everyday people. In fact, rebuilding trust with loyal families may be the smartest long-term investment they can make.

We love Disney  and we want to share it with our kids, not just in stories but in real life. Bring the magic back to Main Street for everyone.

Sign now if you believe the happiest place on Earth shouldn’t be the most expensive.
