Ninjago has had a troubled past with bigotry, accidental or not it’s in the show, and is still watched by thousands of people each year. Although recently, they’ve started to improve and show just how progressive this silly Ninja show can be!

Ninjago has made references to the LGBTQ community in recent seasons, although that’s not enough. So many cartoons today have canon gay characters: The Owl House, Gravity Falls, Big City Greens, She-Ra, Adventure Time, even Clifford the Big Red Dog!

Ninjago should never again lag behind with inclusion. More than ever are gay characters accepted and loved in kids media! It shows gay kids that they are real and accepted, that their feelings are real. Ninjago needs to stay on the right path and join the movement for LGBTQ inclusion in kids cartoons! 

Recently, Ninjago has given itself a great way to keep on the right path. Cole and Geo in Ninjago Dragons Rising have been shown to have a more than platonic relationship. This is best way for Ninjago to introduce not only a canon gay ship but also a canon gay main character 

Making Cole and Geo a canonical gay couple can show tens of thousands of Ninjago fans that being gay is okay, and accepted.
