Make Aston Villa FC's Historic 150th Anniversary Season Affordable for All

The Issue

From a devoted Aston Villa supporter: The thrill of attending matches, the community of fellow supporters, the heart-stopping moments we've shared - these are some of the pillars of many of our lives.

But now, with my two sons aged 7 and 11 eagerly following in my footsteps, things have changed. The costs to see our beloved team play have escalated drastically over the years. At a time when things are going so well on the pitch - In Unai We Trust - the match-day experience off the pitch has deteriorated, adding insult to bruising financial injury.

This historic 150th Anniversary season - a potentially once-in-a-lifetime experience - looks set to be an opportunity missed for many. The recently published ticket prices for home matches in the Champions League are so exorbitant that they will almost certainly push some supporters into debt and will exclude many more.

We ask billionaire owners Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens to act swiftly and thoughtfully to address this issue. We call for equity, inclusivity, and respect for the hardworking supporters. We urge the club's management to re-align these home ticket prices to UEFA’s away ticket policy, (which caps costs at €60), and in doing so, preserve the bond of trust and loyalty between Aston Villa FC and its devoted fan base.

Let's make this historic 150th Anniversary season a celebration for all, not just the few. Join us in asking Aston Villa FC to consider their supporters - sign this petition today.
