Our school AHS currently organizes Sports Day in a way that limits participation and school spirit. Instead of creating a united and inclusive event, each grade is sent out in groups for an hour, preventing students from experiencing the full spirit and camaraderie that such a day could truly offer. This staggered approach leaves most of us feeling excluded and detached from the school community.

Meanwhile, other schools manage to have everyone join together for an entire day, fostering a robust sense of unity and school pride. A full-day event not only motivates us but also strengthens relationships and encourages us to support one another.

AHS prides itself on fostering student engagement and school spirit, yet the current format of our Sports Day does not live up to these values. A full-day event will give everyone the chance to participate equally, build friendships, and celebrate school achievements as one unified body just like other schools.

Moreover, having all students and faculty participate collectively on one day will cut down on logistical issues like multiple arrangements for different time slots. Instead, it provides an opportunity to concentrate resources and efforts for a single, dynamic day of sports.
