Make 1 RADIANT of SK La Salle Klang to a Dual Language Programme

The Issue

We, the undersigned parents, and guardians of students attending SK La Salle Klang, hereby petition the relevant authorities, including PPD Klang, Jabatan Pendidikan Selangor, and Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia (KPM), to reconsider the recent decision to introduce non-DLP classes and instead revert to offering solely Dual Language Programme (DLP) classes.

As parents who have chosen SK La Salle Klang for its previous status as a full DLP school, we are deeply concerned about the impact of introducing non-DLP classes on our children's educational experience and opportunities. Many of us specifically chose SK La Salle Klang for its commitment to bilingual education and the benefits it provides for our children's future.

The sudden introduction of non-DLP classes has left many of us feeling disappointed and frustrated. It has disrupted the continuity of our children's education and has not aligned with our expectations for SK La Salle Klang as a DLP school. Furthermore, the lack of prior communication about this significant change has exacerbated our concerns and has left us feeling uninformed and marginalized in the decision-making process.

We believe that reverting to offering solely DLP classes at SK La Salle Klang is in the best interest of our children and the school community. The infrastructure and resources for DLP, including books and trained teachers, are already in place and should be continued for the benefit of our children's education.

Therefore, we respectfully urge the relevant authorities to reconsider this decision and take immediate action to change the non-DLP classes to DLP classes at SK La Salle Klang.

We, the undersigned, hereby express our full support for this petition and call for swift action to address our concerns.
