We the college students of Madhya Pradesh are not prepared to write the final exams. Since the lockdown began, we were constantly writing and submitting our assignments and projects online irrespective of the knowledge about the topics given in assignments and projects. 

Some of us are not even taught the remaining syllabus through online classes. We were given the assignments based on topics we are not even taught.  And the remaining students who are taught via online classes couldn't learn due to lack of access to the internet. Many of the college students couldn't afford to pay for the expensive data packs in order to have access to the internet and learn online. So how can we give exams if we are not even properly aware about the topics of our syllabus.

We are not in favour of giving our final exams due to incomplete syllabus and want general promotion. Many of our colleges haven't carried out any online classes to teach the remaining subject. We have paid the college fee not just to give exams but to gain knowledge. Many of our courses require practical knowledge. How can we give external exams online when none of the practicals are being taught to us? It will be unfair for us to give exams without being taught. 

Most of us come from far away places to pursue our education. Due to this COVID19 pandemic our parents fear to send us back to the college for exams. We wouldn't feel safe to live in the hostels and rental apartments as so many different people would come from different places to live there and we wouldn't know if any of us has been infected by the virus. 

We, sincerely request the government of Madhya Pradesh to give all the college students a general promotion. Since we are the future of India, our health and safety matters too. We are also aware about the importance of education and we request you to consider our issue and give us either a general promotion or give us marks on the basis of our previous performances and the assignments and projects that we have submitted.
