Our beautiful Regional town Sarina and Surrounding areas is vastly growing. With more and more families wanting to settle down here, we are in dire need of a water play area for our children. 

The weather is heating up and our children in Sarina don't have access to a safe, free, water play area. Our beaches are known to have stingers, jelly fish and even crocodiles, making our beaches not always accessible to cool off.

Our only "public pool" at Sarina High school is only open to the public for a fraction of the year and is charged with a small fee. Which is not ideal for those wanting to cool down on the days our "public pool" is closed or to people on a tight budget. 

Having a water play area would decrease people trespassing on properties with access to water holes and closed off swimming areas. 

Sarina can only benefit from having a water play area. Having this can attract additional tourism. Travelling Families are constantly looking for inexpensive water play fun to entertain their children while they travel. Additional tourism can help out our local businesses thrive.
