With overwhelming support by the neighborhood, we are asking the city to respond to the needs for the safety and security of our neighborhood by placing the downtown precinct in this location. The alternate site and building are much more suitable than the proposed facility next to the convention center, will save the taxpayers money while preserving a more appropriate use for the parcel across from the $585m Music City Center convention center.
