This is a petition to urge the government to protect our children by keeping schools closed and prevent the virus spreading into our homes.  
Keeping school open during lockdown does not make any sense. How can we reduce the rate of infection when children from different families ate mixing with each other! Children with disabilities were shielding in the previous lockdown- how can they be less at harm now! How would family members with vulnerable adults be safe if their children are in an exposed environment! 
I believe Online teaching will be the safest way forward during the forthcoming lockdown.
Please sign this petition and make the Government change the decision before Thursday 05/11/2020 even if you do not have any children attending school. 
Let us all get together to protect our children and our families.
