Help to get disabled and young mums safety on the highways

The Issue

Mark Ravenhill is a 35 year old disabled man who along with his wife is experiencing obstructively parked vehicles on the roads around his home and local area. This has now got to the point where he does not know who to turn to for help. He and his wife  are having to put themselves at risk to bypass vehicles that park obstructing the pavement or grass verges. This also impacts lots of other people such as young mums with prams or younger children. Mark has tried to solve this by reporting this to BMBC and SYP but gets passed from one to the other, both stating that its not their responsibility.

Its now time to stand up and be counted to help sort this out for everyone that has or is affected by this mindless act. Please sign now to let the authorities know that Mark and all others affected mean business. Disabled people are often overlooked and become invisible when in a wheelchair and as I have worked in care for over 20 years know on a personal basis how this affects them. This makes them feel like second class citizens and that their lives and views do not matter.

I hope you can help both Mark and Lucy and all his friends by signing my petition now and make BMBC and SYP listen. Help save lives by signing now. Thankyou Sharon Knowles
